2 Houses in Punta Pite
This project is located on the rocks of Punta Pite, on the central coast of Chile, with magnificent views to the Pacific at the north. It consists of two houses projected as a unit for a three generation family. The construction adapts its parts to the complex topography and uses the mass of its volumes for controlling the wind. Both houses form a continuous exterior path that crosses existing roofs, patios, walls, ramps and rocks. The shared pool equipped with a barbecue area brings families together. The dominant material is local stone used in exterior walls and pavements and exposed concrete in slabs and pillars.
